Kirk Hanefeld's tap in birdie on the final hole secured his second Senior PGA Professional National Championship. Hanefeld also won in 2008. Kirk was one stroke behind going into the final hole when leader Ken Martin made bogey on the final hole. Hanefeld set the tournament 36 hole record at 11 under par and held on after a 74-75 on the weekend. He earned $20,000 for the win, and a spot in the Senior PGA Championship and exemption into the final stage of the 2011 Champions Tour Q-school.
